A ship that was initially abandoned in the ice in 1931, but up until the 1960’s, she was regularly seen drifting about unmanned and directionless. A true ‘ghost ship.’

The ship partially responsible for the largest man made explosion before the atomic bomb. She was carrying munitions in Halifax, Nova Scotia when she collided with the SS Imo. The resulting fire and explosion leveled Halifax Harbor.
